A SIX-WEEK BEGINNER PROGRAMME · MONDAYS FROM 7 SEPTEMBER

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

SAVE MY SPOT

Mixed group, everyone welcome. One coached strength session a week, a weekly weigh-in, and the same small group expecting you every Monday.

NEW TO TRAINING?
START HERE

Monday Small Group Training is the beginner track. It is for people who are new to training with structure, or who have just finished Women N’ Weights and want to know what comes next. You train in a small group with a coach, one hour a week, for six weeks.

Each session is coached strength training with a different mix of exercises each week, so you get used to the equipment and to more than one way of moving. Nutrition guidance comes with it, and so does a weekly weigh-in. Everything is pitched for people who are still finding their feet.

SIX WEEKS

One coached session a week, Mondays 6 to 7pm. A proper start and finish, not a rolling class.

SMALL GROUP

The same few people every week, coached together. That is the accountability, and a big part of why it works.

WEEKLY WEIGH-IN

A short check-in each week, so you can see it moving and stay on track between sessions.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

If any of these sound like you, Monday is the right place to start.

01You’ve just finished Women N’ Weights and want to know what comes next

02You’ve never trained with any structure and don’t know where to start

03You’d rather train alongside other people than on your own

04You need something in the diary that expects you to turn up

05You want to see what Elevate’s classes are like before committing to anything bigger

WHY TRAIN IN A GROUP

SOME PEOPLE DON’T LIKE TRAINING ON THEIR OWN. THAT’S FINE.

Plenty of people can walk into a gym and get on with it. Plenty more find it hard to start, or hard to keep going once the novelty wears off. Small Group Training is built for the second lot. You train alongside the same few people every week, with a coach who knows your name and where you are up to, and that turns “I should go” into “they’re expecting me”.

The weekly weigh-in does a similar job. It is a marker, not a judgement. Knowing it is coming tends to keep the week in between a little more honest, and seeing the number move is often what carries people through weeks four and five.

Monday is the gentler of our two groups. The Wednesday group is the more experienced one and mostly renews block after block. Monday is where you start: a small group, a coach, six weeks, and a clear idea by the end of what you want to do next.

Everything can be adapted. If you have an injury or a condition we should know about, tell us on the form and we’ll work around it.

HOW THE SIX WEEKS GO

Every Monday at 6pm, the same group and the same coach. A coached strength session with a different mix of exercises each week, nutrition guidance alongside it, and a quick weigh-in to start.

By the end of the six weeks you know the gym, you know how a class here feels, and you know what you want to do next. Some people move on to classes, some join the gym and train on their own, some book the next block. All three are the right answer.

“WE REMEMBER OUR FIRST TIME WALKING INTO A GYM.”

Everything after that door is easier: you’ll be met by name, shown where everything is, and introduced to the group.

NO PRESSURE

No pressure to keep up. Every exercise can be scaled to where you are right now.

NO JUDGEMENT

The weigh-in is a number, not a verdict. Nobody here is keeping score on you.

SAME FACES EVERY WEEK

A small group that starts together and finishes together, with a coach who knows where you’re up to.

The aim is simple. Help you find your feet, and find out what you enjoy.

THE PRACTICAL BIT

WHEN

Starts Monday 7 September, then weekly to Monday 12 October. 6 to 7pm, one hour a week.

WHERE

The converted barn at Old Holly Farm, Forton. Free parking in the yard.

PRICE

£100 for the sessions, weekly weigh-ins and nutrition guidance. Or the full package, £150 for members and £180 for non-members: sessions, a training app with your own programmes, nutrition guidance and open gym access for the whole six weeks. Spaces are limited.

If you’d rather start in a women-only group with the gym closed, Women N’ Weights runs Wednesdays 6:45 to 7:45pm from 9 September. Wednesday Small Group Training, 5:30 to 6:30pm, is the more experienced group, and Monday is the natural step towards it. And if you’re not ready to book anything yet, come and have a look around first. No forms, no tour script. Just say hello.
